Competition Dates

State-level competitions

The Chicago Fed conducts competitions in each state in our district — Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin — and chooses a champion in each state.

Dates for state-level competition in 2009 are as follows:

March 30, 2009 — Milwaukee, Wisconsin
April 3, 2009 — Indianapolis, Indiana
April 10, 2009 — Federal Resrve Bank of Chicago–Detroit Branch for Michigan
April 16, 2009 — Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago for Illinois
TBD — Location and Date for Iowa

District competition

District competition pits state champions against each other in order to determine the Seventh Federal Reserve District champion.

The date for District-level competition is May 1, 2009. The competition will take place at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

National Competition

District winners from across the nation meet at the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C. to determine the National High School Fed Challenge champion on May 19, 2009.
